"The J.A.M. AWARDS are unique, as they are the first awards in the hip-hop community to recognize social responsibility. The awards will honor the late Jam Master Jay's life and legacy and his efforts to promote social Justice, Arts, and Music ("J.A.M.") in his local community and around the world."
Confirmed acts so far include: DJ Muggs, DMC, De La Soul, Dead Prez, Everlast, Marley Marl, Mobb Deep, Papoose, Q Tip, Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, and Talib Kweli.
